Farming Guide

The fastest ways to farm every resource in Voidling Bound.

Mutagen Farming

Mutagen is the main crafting currency. The fastest ways to farm it:

  1. Mutagen Farm research (8,000 Mutagen upfront, then 200/day passive). Pays for itself in 40 days.
  2. Boss repeats: Each main boss drops 5,000-20,000 Mutagen. Re-killing is allowed after the first clear.
  3. Golden Egg fragments: Each one in the post-game sells for 1,000 Mutagen at the Hatchery vendor.
  4. Daily bounties: 3 per in-game day, 500-1,500 Mutagen each. Reset by sleeping at any inn.

XP Farming

The fastest XP per minute:

  1. Post-game training dummies — 5,000 XP per dummy, 60-second respawn. Best XP in the game.
  2. Wild Voidling swarms — 5 Voidlings at once give the same XP as 5 separate fights in 1/3 the time.
  3. Advanced Combat Training research — +15% XP and +10% boss damage.
  4. Breeding XP boost — breeding a Voidling gives it a permanent +10% XP passive for 24 in-game hours.

Egg Farming

The fastest way to fill your roster:

  1. Golden Eggs — there are 9. See the Golden Eggs guide for all locations.
  2. Breeding — 4 in-game hours per egg, can be cut to 30 minutes with the Golden Egg Incubator research.
  3. Wild catches — every biome has 2-3 rare spawns. See the all locations guide.
  4. Egg fragments — random drops from boss kills, 10 fragments = 1 random egg.
