Voidling Bound Endgame Guide
The complete post-game walkthrough. From defeating all 5 main bosses to claiming the rare Golden King Egg.
Step 1 — Defeat All 5 Main Bosses
The post-game unlocks after you defeat all 5 main bosses. They are, in order of recommended level:
- Ashen Colossus — Level 18, Fire
- Tide Warden — Level 25, Water
- Worldroot God — Level 32, Nature
- Arcane Architect — Level 38, Arcane
- Void Stalker Prime — Level 45, Shadow
Each boss drops a Mantle. You need all 5 Mantles to research the Void Portal Access project (30,000 Mutagen).
Step 2 — Unlock the Void Portal
Go to the Hatchery research menu and queue "Void Portal Access" (30,000 Mutagen + all 5 Mantles). It takes 24 in-game hours to research. Once complete, a portal opens in the center of the Hatchery.
Step 3 — The Void Nexus
The Void Nexus is a new endgame area. It contains:
- Void Stalker Prime Rematch — a harder version of the final boss. Drops the Void Stalker Mantle (best-in-slot cloak).
- 9 Golden King Egg fragments — collect all 9 to unlock the Golden King Egg questline.
- The Golden King Egg itself — a one-of-a-kind reward for completing the post-game.
Step 4 — The Golden King Egg
Once you have all 9 fragments, the Golden King Egg hatches at noon in-game time on the final day of the post-game cycle. The egg is in the very center of the Void Nexus. It hatches into the "Voidling King" — a unique hybrid with the movesets of all three final-evolution forms (Infernalisk + Abyssalix + Worldroot). It is the rarest Voidling in the game and can only be obtained once per save file.
What to Do After
There is no new game plus. Once you have the Voidling King, you have finished the game. The remaining content is:
- 100% completion checklist (all research, all achievements, all eggs)
- Speedrun attempts (any% world record is currently under 4 hours)
- Hardcore permadeath runs (community challenge)
- Waiting for the Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox versions in Q4 2026 (cross-save will be supported)
